Our community takes action to defend democratic values around the world. Explore our Fellows' Action Projects here.
In the 11 months following the on-site Fellowship program, our Fellows work on their Action Project: an independent venture focused on promoting democratic values in their own communities. Action Projects are as diverse as Humanity in Action Fellows. Fellows apply their new knowledge and perspectives to the communities they impact—in whatever format they find meaningful. The Humanity in Action community is a great resource for getting support—be it with contacts, experience or good advice. Njena Ulica (Her Street)
"Njena Ulica" is a project initiated by EDVACAY participants Layla Jusko, Selma Pandža, and Adela Mujezinović. The project's primary objective is to raise awareness about underrepresented notable women in Bosnia and Herzegovina by “assigning” their names to the streets of Sarajevo on a large mural.

The EDVACAY Fellows, Muhamed Ahmuljić, Isidora Trivković, Kana Bajrić, and Jovana Mišikić, have come together to create a project guided by the motto „enriching micro-urban spaces with youth's voices“, which aims to include and empower young poets and bring their poetry to the streets of Sarajevo to entice a dialogue with the community.
