We spoke with her in New York about her 26 years leading the organization, Humanity in Action’s place in the democracy and human rights movement, and what she hopes to see Humanity in Action accomplish as it moves into the future.

After 26 years of stewardship, Humanity in Action Founder and Executive Director Dr. Judith Goldstein has announced her retirement from the organization, effective March 31. Humanity in Action’s Board of Directors has unanimously approved Talia Dubovi, a Humanity in Action Senior Fellow (Amsterdam 2000) and Board Member, to lead the organization as Interim CEO, beginning April 1.
