As hundreds of food banks are closing in Germany, social needs are on the rise
Around half of the 949 food banks across Germany have stopped operations since the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, reports Senior Fellow Lena Kampf. Many of the volunteers at the food banks are elderly people belonging to those who are particularly vulnerable to COVID-19.

Based on his dissertation, the book investigates the tactics of transnational social movements to enhance the human rights accountability of multilateral development banks in light of the declining hegemony of the United States.
