Senior Fellow Mary Consolata Namagambe was interviewed by FEMINA, a Danish, feminist magazine. In the article, she recounts key moments of her childhood that point out racism in the Denmark. Having been born in Uganda, Mary is acutely aware of the difficulties that face the black community in Denmark. In 2016, she cofounded the Black Lives Matter movement in Denmark, and since then, has been continuing the conversation on race.
