Senior Fellow Carolin Wiedemann was interviewed by Neues Deutschland newspaper where she answered questions about her recently published book “Tender and Free” (Zart und frei). In the interview, Caroline defines patriarchy as an order that divides people into men and women and serves to oppress and exploit the latter. She also talks about how it is connected to capitalism and racism, and how queer feminism can be a new “liberation strategy” in the fight for gender equality.
