In an article for Deutschlandfunk Kultur, Senior Fellow Jasamin Ulfat-Seddiqzai writes about how racial profiling and racism influence policing. Stereotypes about certain groups of people, especially migrants, play a role in how the police treat perpetrators (or who they think are perpetrators), but nobody has criminality in their cultural background.
