Humanity in Action The Netherlands is seeking dedicated individuals to join our International Board of Directors. As a Board Member, you will play a key role in guiding our mission, supporting our programs, and contributing to the strategic direction of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and actively participate in three Board meetings per year (held in March, October, and December).
- Serve on at least one Board committee and collaborate with fellow members on strategic initiatives (current committees are: Executive Committee, Nominations and Governance, Developments, Program & Senior Fellow Network. Finance & Audit, Human Resources)
- Support fundraising efforts by helping identify potential donors and contributing to the development of new funding opportunities.
- Stay informed on issues related to democracy and human rights and engage with Humanity in Action’s programs and activities.
Qualifications:
- A commitment to advancing democracy, human rights, and social justice.
- The ability to dedicate 2-4 hours per month to Board-related activities, including meetings, committee work, and fundraising efforts.
- No financial minimum for donations, but a commitment to making Humanity in Action a top philanthropic priority.
