According to the United Nations, more than ten million people worldwide do not have a nationality. Furthermore, the lack of information is standing in the way of real progress. It is therefore necessary to close the gap between those experiencing statelessness and those who are fighting to end it.
The aim of Christiana Bukalo’s Action Project was to close this gap. To do so, Christiana created Statefree.world, an online space building a digital bridge and connecting stateless people with their allies. Among else, the platform further acts as an information hub as well as a forum and aims to enable self-education of stateless people.
In December 2021, the Statefree community became live and available for individuals to join.
