Landecker Fellow Asha Shajahan is featured on Walk Your Walk, a website that interviews accomplished women on their professional and personal journeys, and the ways in which they define fulfillment and success. Walk Your Walk’s goal is to empower young women to explore their own passions, leave their comfort zones, and embrace who they are.
Asha details her role as Director of Health Equity and Health Disparities and her passion for what she does. She also discusses her career trajectory, advice for her younger self, and what brings her joy outside of work. You can find the full feature here.
Asha is one of thirty Alfred Landecker Democracy Fellows. This fellowship, a collaboration between the Alfred Landecker Foundation and Humanity in Action, was created to strengthen a new generation of leaders whose approaches to political and social challenges can become catalysts for democratic placemaking and community building.
