Landecker Fellow Hui-Hui was recently featured in an episode of ‘Over Kleur Gesproken.’ Joined by actress Jennifer Hoffman, their conversation revolved around the importance of representation and seeing yourself in the media.
In the conversation, Hui-Hui further discussed why the Pan Asian Collective (PAC) was founded. “‘Who am I? Who do I want to be? Who can I be?’ These simple but essential questions sound so normal, but are difficult to answer if you are not represented in the media yourself,” Hui-Hui explained why representation matters.
- The full conversation (in Dutch) is available on Over Kleur Gesproken’s website.
