Landecker Fellow Zawdie Sandvliet Publishes a Statement on Racism Online

As a social studies teacher, Zawdie lets his students participate in the Het Parool Column-festival. In 2021, Kymmora Vrede, one of his students won the competition between high school students in Amsterdam. Kymmora’s  piece discusses the questions of belonging in Amsterdam in the year of the BLM protests, but unfortunately was met with a violent attack and trolls on Twitter.
