Think Immigration: Immigration Is the Solution, Not the Problem

As the U.S elections approach us, Senior Fellow Ava Morgenstern provides a different viewing on what the public refers to as the “immigration crisis.”

“Thanks to the US/EU elections Humanity in Action panel talk I did with Dariusz Dybka and Pau-y Chow, I was inspired to write a blog post for the US’ largest immigration attorney organization about how the US critically needs mass immigration,” Ava shared on social media.

In a new piece published by the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Ava argues that the real issue in the United States is not an excess of immigration but rather a significant shortage thereof. According to the Senior Fellow, data shows that the US faces a shortfall of immigrants, which exacerbates challenges related to an aging population and low birth rates.

In other words, immigrants are essential for supporting economic growth, filling labor shortages, and maintaining a robust tax base. To address these demographic challenges and ensure long-term stability, increasing immigration could be a key solution.
