On February 8, 2023, Senior Fellow and US National Director Hannah Joy Sachs visited Davidson College, her alma mater, to speak at the Symposium on Reformed Christianity and Social Ethics organized by the Davidson Forum.
Together with two other Davidson alumni with unconventional career journeys, Hannah joined a panel titled “Liberal Arts Education and Social Responsibilities.”
“It was an honor to share my experiences as a Jewish student of color at a Presbyterian-affiliated, predominantly white institution,” Hannah shared in this LinkedIn post.
In her speech, Hannah further discussed how her education contributed to her sense and understanding of doing something meaningful and socially responsible in the world.
