On May 13th, Landecker Democracy Fellow Asha Shajahan went live with March For Science as part of their weekly “Let’s Get FACTSinated” series and discussed the COVID-19 crisis in India. In the interview, Asha addresses the following questions: What led to the surge in first place? What took so long for the virus to get so bad? Is the surge directly related to how much more dense India’s population is? How different is the variant that is causing the surge? What can the US do to help?
