DeLesslin “Roo” George-Warren has joined the new cohort of Fractal Fellowships. This fellowship is the core program of the Democracy Machine for the Eyebeam Center for the Future of Journalism (ECFJ).
ECFJ is a new grant-making program that funds and supports artists and journalists producing inventive work. As part of their missions, the organization has launched the Fractal Fellowships, “a radically reimagined iteration of Eyebeam’s flagship residency that fully hands over authority to artist cohorts.”
This year, amongst four other talents, Delesslin “Roo” will join the fellowship to work collectively in the eight months course. Throughout the program, fellows will work to create new systems for artist support and unlock advanced “artist-led inventions in the areas of self-governance.”
Find out more about the Fractal Fellowship on their Instagram post or on their official website at Eyebeam.
DeLesslin “Roo” George-Warren is one of thirty Landecker Democracy Fellows. This Fellowship, a collaboration between the Alfred Landecker Foundation and Humanity in Action, was created to strengthen a new generation of leaders whose approaches to political and social challenges can become catalysts for democratic placemaking and community building.
