Humanity in Action’s Communications Consultant, Vanda Prošková, appears in the European Commission’s Youtube video – the COP26 UN Climate Change Conference 2021 teaser. In the short video, university students, including Vanda, speak up on the need for leaders to fight for climate justice.
The 2021 UN Climate Change Conference, also known as COP26, brings together 197 parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which include the EU and the EU member states.
The parties are joined this year from the 31st of October to the 12th of November in Glasgow, United Kingdom and in partnership with Italy. The conference seeks to review the progress on the parties commitments to the Paris Agreement’s main goal to “keep global warming below 2°C above pre-industrial levels and pursuing effort to limit it to 1.5°C.
