On the 10th of September, U.S. Ambassador to Poland, Mark F. Brzezinski, opened the “Women’s Empowerment in Poland” reception with powerful words: “Women play a pivotal role and stand to gain or lose the most in a democracy.”
Together with Ms. Olga Leonowicz, the Ambassador welcomed nearly 100 inspiring women, each a leader in fields ranging from politics and civic engagement to corporate leadership, education, media, and the arts.
Among the honored guests was Monika Mazur-Rafał, President of HIA Poland, known for her impactful work in strengthening women’s rights and promoting empowerment initiatives in the third sector.
The event provided a platform for meaningful dialogue and networking, celebrating the achievements of women and fostering connections that drive change.
