Adrienne Hunter is a Texas-based writer, journalist, and researcher with focuses on trans civil right, radical care and community formation, and popular/internet culture. She recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with majors in Radio-Television-Film, Anthropology, and Women’s & Gender Studies. She also completed certificates in Creative Writing and LGBTQ Studies. Her writing has been featured in Smithsonian Magazine and the Daily Dot. During her time as a student, she was deeply involved in on-campus LGBTQIA+ advocacy. Since graduating, she has focused on storytelling efforts within the trans community.
