Aleksandra Wilczura is the President of the Cukunft Jewish Association and the Hasmonea Jewish Sports Club based in Poland, two non-governmental organizations whose purpose is to educate and integrate people of Jewish origin into Polish and European civil society and, combat Antisemitism, xenophobia and all forms of social exclusion. She is an author and editor of numerous articles devoted to Jewish culture and the Middle East. After finishing her degree in Middle and Far Eastern studies and Jewish studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Aleksandra continued her education at Oxford University, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Yad Vashem International School. Her educational and cultural projects deal with Jewish values through social activism and anti-discrimination education, combating Antisemitism and social exclusion, marking the Jewish presence in the Polish public sphere, and empowering Jewish women as well as minority women in Poland.

In 2018, Aleksandra Wilczura received the Cross of Merit in recognition of her volunteer work devoted to the revival of Jewish life in Poland.

As a young adult, she was the President of the Polish Union of Jewish Students (PUSZ) in Krakow and Wroclaw (2001-2005) and co-founder the Czulent Jewish Association (2005). In 2017, Aleksandra Wilczura was appointed a Director of the Lower Silesian Festival of Jewish Culture and a member of Social Committee of the Regional Office of the Polish Ombudsman. In 2018, the President of Poland Andrzej Duda awarded Aleksandra Wilczura with the Polish state award – the Cross of Merit – in recognition of her volunteer work devoted to the revival of Jewish life in Poland.
