Alexandra was born in New York, but she spent most of her life in Moscow, Russia. She is currently a second year student at Wesleyan University (Middletown, CT, USA.) she is double majoring in College of Letters (interdisciplinary study of European literature, history, philosophy from antiquity to the present) and Classical Studies, and minoring in Jewish and Israeli Studies. On campus Alexandra is involved in the student theater and Wesleyan Jewish Community. Alexandra is very passionate about human rights and international relations and she hopes to go to law school after completing her BA degree. In Moscow she volunteered for various events, promoting Jewish awareness, including the annual Limmud Conference. Her interests include learning ancient and modern languages, which help her to learn and understand the diverse countries and cultures. She speaks Russian, English, Latin, and German, and she is currently studying Hebrew and Ancient Greek.
