Amber Due is the Administrative Assistant for Humanity in Action, Inc. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. Her career has focused on the operational and administrative side of nonprofit management.
Amber is inspired by organizations such as Humanity in Action which create intersectional, systemic, positive change. She dedicates her time to projects focused on sustainability, community resilience, human rights, and environmental justice. Before becoming involved with Humanity in Action she was involved in the local food movement, advocating for local farmers and access to fresh foods for all, as well as doing conservation work for culturally and environmentally significant landscapes. She spends her free time camping, hiking, backpacking, and running.
