Anthony Chase

Anthony served as Director of Programs and Detroit Program Director in the New York office of Humanity in Action until July 2018. He is passionate about cities, urban development and public policy. From 2014 to 2016, Anthony and Judith Goldstein developed the Diplomacy & Diversity Fellowship from a nascent idea to a multinational educational initiative that has engaged over 300 emerging and established foreign policy experts. When Anthony joined Humanity in Action in 2013 as a Program Coordinator, he produced a program in Cairo and New York on human rights and politics in Egypt since the Arab Spring. Anthony previously worked in Paris as a Project Manager for Bibliothèques Sans Frontières and now serves on the Board of Directors of the organization’s US branch, Libraries Without Borders. He is a highest honors graduate of the University of Michigan where he was as a research assistant in urban planning, public policy and African studies departments. Anthony is a Humanity in Action Senior Fellow (France 2011). He is a native of Kalamazoo, Michigan and since fall 2018 a postgraduate student at at the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University. @achase4
