Barbara Szpilka is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a specialization in Global Studies at the University of Wroclaw. She is an alumna of the Future Leaders Exchange Program, and she has worked as a facilitator for the Open World Program, successfully leading a delegation of Polish professionals from the LGBTQ+ organizations to the US. She has also supported the work of the European Academy of Leadership in Warsaw and St Ethelburga’s Centre for Reconciliation and Peace in London as a communication intern. Barbara is passionate about intersectional feminism, sustainability, media, and human rights. She is particularly interested in how armed conflicts affect women and in women’s role in peacebuilding processes. Barbara also enjoys volunteering, traveling, and exploring museums and art galleries. Currently, she is working as a digital marketing assistant for a creative studio.
