Article

Brandon Lee Moscoso is the Operations, Development and Communications Coordinator for Humanity in Action. In 2022, he graduated from CUNY New York City College of Technology with an Associate of Applied Science. Having built a personal brand revolving around technology and being a proud latino (Salvadoran and Ecuadorian), Brandon started meeting with several different Latino organizations in NYC within the tech space, including Techqueria, a nonprofit serving the largest global community of latiné professionals in tech. Brandon is currently a volunteer Chapter Director for Fundraising where he regularly organizes events throughout NYC and coordinates with the Techqueria team to partner with companies for networking opportunities within the communities.

In 2023, Brandon worked with a U.S based organization, American Corporate Partners, founded on the principles of supporting U.S Veterans adjusting to civilian life. He further developed the mission by identifying their needs, facilitating new conversations and creating a productive environment for U.S Veterans to grow. A large part of Brandon’s role included developing new projects for design, digital consulting, research and web maintenance. All while supporting this mission, Brandon has continued to volunteer for other organizations and missions, even currently leading the creation of a website redesign for the Mexican Museum in San Francisco, California.

With being involved in a variety of projects, Brandon believes that the work is never done and that there can always be more for us to push the growth of humanity. Despite having a background within technology, he is dedicated to echoing the voices of underrepresented folks, supporting cross-cultural discussions and building community.

Outside of work, Brandon likes to engage with various communities, playing board games and planning events with the aim of fostering an inclusive environment.
