Christine Ächtler van Kan is a foreign language teacher based in Baden-Württemberg. She studied English and French language and literature in Constance. In 2008 she graduated with a thesis on genocide literature supervised by Aleida Assmann.
Research stays and teaching brought her around the world, with longer stays in Canada (Toronto) and France (near Paris). In 2006 she visited Warsaw as a HIA fellow.
Her interests include: educational science and school development, political education and democracy, as well as sustainability.
She has a passion for arts, yoga and MBSR.
