Daikira Brown-Turner is a journalist, activist, and storyteller. A native of Chicago‘s Southside, Daikira has a passion for being a voice for the voiceless and discovering unique perspectives for her audience. Daikira has dreams of writing for news publications such as the New York Times and the Washington Post or reporting for ABC World News. In the future, she aspires to own her own digital media company to showcase the authentic perspective of people of color.
