Eryk Gawroński graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań with a degree in military history in December 2018. During his study period, he took part in various student projects and initiatives, especially in the field of science. In the period 2016-2017, he was the President of History Students Research Circle at his university. He took part in over 20 academic conferences and took his first steps in publishing scientific articles relating to modern military history. His area of interest concerns such topics as: war and society in former Yugoslavia during 90’s, war propaganda, dehumanization, hate speech and genocide. Since 2015, he has been travelling by hitchhiking across postwar former Yugoslavia in order to better understand his scientific fields. During his journies, he met dozens of people from opposite sides of the barricade and understood that being a part of real change in this country is exactly what he wants to do.
