Georgia Soares

Georgia is a Ph.D. candidate in Comparative Literature at Harvard University, focusing on transatlantic issues of national identity and cultural formation in the Americas. She holds an M.Phil. in Comparative and International Education from the University of Oslo, Norway and a B.A. in English, French, and Comparative Literature from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. In 2016, Georgia joined the Humanity in Action fellowship in Bosnia and Herzegovina and subsequently interned at the Berlin office in 2017. For her Action Project, Georgia founded Youth to Youth, a mentorship program in Brazil that paired public high school students with college undergraduates to support careers in the arts and culture.
