Giancarlo Ceja is a LatinX, first generation senior at the University of Southern California (USC), where he is majoring in Environmental Studies and International Relations. His passion lies within environmental justice, striving for a career creating climate mitigation policy to protect the marginalized communities most susceptible to the climate crisis. This pursuit has led him to everything from Urban Heat Island research at the USC Environmental Health Center, Conservation Field Work at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, and even International Development within South Korea. He hopes to pursue a Master of Public Policy with a concentration in Environmental Policy after graduation from USC.
