Inga is an activist and researcher with a PhD in Sociology. Her work focuses on participatory democracy, civic engagement, gender, and migration. She has worked with urban movements, non-governmental organizations, and local municipalities looking for effective tools to engage citizens in decision-making processes, such as participatory budgeting.

Inga’s PhD research explored grassroots approaches to supporting refugee women based on the work of selected Syrian organizations and initiatives in the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, and the political engagement of their participants in different spaces.
She is also a member of a coordinating group of Researchers on the Border, which documents and researches the ongoing humanitarian crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border, where she also provides humanitarian assistance to people on the move.
