Jaden Evans

Jaden Evans is a rising fourth-year Jefferson Scholar at the University of Virginia, where he is double majoring in Media Studies and Foreign Affairs. His academic interests revolve around media theory, political philosophy, and the politics of supranational organizations. Currently, Jaden is particularly interested in the formative effects of digital media on democratic behavior, especially within the comparative international context. At the Miller Center for Public Affairs, he is also working with the Project on Democracy and Capitalism to develop an interactive database through which students, teachers, and faculty can access, analyze, and compare hundreds of datasets pertaining to the core elements of democracy and capitalism. Jaden is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys using running to build community in new places.
