Judith Blum

Article

Judith Blum is a German historian who is currently setting up the EVZ Academy expanded, with her team at the Foundation Remembrance, Responsibility and Future. With the EVZ Academy, a forum is being created for exchange, knowledge acquisition, interaction and engagement around the Foundation’s topics. She experienced the fall of the Wall as a twelve-year-old in East Germany. Since starting her career, she has been committed to documenting Nazi injustice and remembering the fates of the persecuted. She has restructured and bundled the youth section of the Foundation EVZ and brought the topics of human rights education, inclusion and youth participation into this international field of action. Her compass is her interest in co-creation, effective formats, strong networks and partnership-based cooperation. Judith is also a parent of three girls, with whom she enjoys spending her free time out and about visiting Brandenburg or tending the bee-friendly balcony garden, as the name Blum obliges.
