Karlijn Limaheluw


Karlijn, also known as Koko, is the Program Manager of Humanity in Action the Netherlands. She holds two Bachelor’s degrees, in Business Administration and in Education. After her studies, she worked in the field of social entrepreneurship and education and managed complex projects in the refugee camps in Greece. Karlijn is currently finalizing a Master’s degree in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies. Alongside her professional career, she has consistently volunteered at several non-profit organizations, such as Defence for Children Greece, TEDxWellington and most recently, the coordination of emergency aid for asylum seekers in The Netherlands for MiGreat. Outside of work, Karlijn has played semi-professional football and is interested in learning more about her own Moluccan family history and Indigenous Rights.
