Kirby Kimball

Kirby Kimball is a third year at Claremont McKenna College studying PPE (Philosophy, Politics, & Economics), and specializing in Human Rights, Genocide & Holocaust Studies. Under the Mgrublian Center for Human Rights, Kirby leads student researchers on Eastern European politics – specifically on the war in Ukraine. She was previously granted the Gould Center for Humanistic Studies Creative Works Fellowship to design a documentary on the Ukrainian refugee crisis while living alone in Brussels, Belgium. As director of technology for CMC Advocates, a sexual assault prevention organization, Kirby is driven to seek justice and security against gender-based violence. In her work as an executive officer for ASCMC, CMC’s student government, Kirby secured the inaugural funding of free, campus-wide period products. Kirby has also worked with D.C.’s Mehlman Consulting as a policy analyst intern, tracking congressional Dobbs decision reactions and on the successful passage of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act.
