Growing up in Georgia, Liza became interested in the interplay between the maintenance of cultural heritage and the process of democratization. With the wish to learn in international communities, she acquired the International Baccalaureate degree from United World Colleges in Dilijan, Armenia. During her time there, she helped organize the country’s first Women’s March, as well as workshops and panel discussions for local women and interested persons. She is currently a student at Bard College Berlin, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Ethics and Politics. Her studies focus on transnational feminism, the colonization of Algeria, and digital politics. Outside of academics, Liza is experienced in project facilitation and administration in higher education.
