Magnus Meyer Harrison was the National Director of Humanity in Action Denmark from September 2012 – 2016. He was a Fellow on the New York program in 2008 and has been in both San Francisco and Washington DC as a Lantos Fellow (2009). Magnus holds a BA in History of Economy and the organization of Europe post World War II from University of Copenhagen, and an MA in EU and Global Studies with a focus on European political economy from Roskilde University. In 2017 Magnus founded Twisted Leaf, the worlds first company to produce delicious, sustainable and naturally refreshing beverages with and without alcohol on coffee leaves, a natural waste product. Working together with primarily smallholder Kenyan coffee farmers Magnus has found a way to create a whole new crop, leading to a much-needed secondary income for the farmers and their families while at the same time introducing a novel superfood ingredient to the European market.
