Magnus Meyer Harrison was the National Director of Humanity in Action Denmark from September 2012 – 2016. He was a Fellow on the New York program in 2008 and has been in both San Francisco and Washington DC as a Lantos Fellow (2009). Magnus holds a BA in History of Economy and the organization of Europe post World War II from University of Copenhagen, and an MA in EU and Global Studies with a focus on European political economy from Roskilde University. Working together with primarily smallholder Kenyan coffee farmers Magnus has found a way to create a whole new crop, leading to a much-needed secondary income for the farmers and their families while at the same time introducing a novel superfood ingredient to the European market.
