Merry Manson


Merry Manson is a Diné from Kayenta Arizona on the Navajo Nation, she has a MBA and MPH from Washington University in St. Louis. Her passion lies in working with communities in need to support them in getting quality health care to live healthy and fulfilled lives. She believes through leveraging her business and public health backgrounds she is able to uniquely provide value to healthcare innovation and problem solving.

Merry attended Arizona State University, Barrett, the Honors College as a Gates Millennium and Barack Obama Scholar. During her final year at Arizona State Merry completed her Honors Thesis – Youth Empowerment for Success through Indigenous Culture and Decolonization Pedagogies, which looked at decolonizing education for Diné youth through cultural teachings and decolonization education. Ms. Manson attended Washington University in St. Louis where she completed a Master’s in Business Administration in Healthcare Strategy and a Master’s in Public Health in Health Policy Analysis. Her supplemental experience for those degrees include an internship with the InterTribal Council of Arizona and Intermountain Healthcare.

Currently Merry works at Banner Health as a Program Manager in Strategy and Planning. Her position includes responsibility for the planning and strategic needs of the health systems Community Health Needs Assessment, rural hospitals in Arizona, California, and Nevada, and TeleHealth.
