Michel holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology (2019) from the University of Amsterdam. He previously studied both International Communications and Branding at the University of Applied Sciences (Tilburg and Amsterdam). Michel specialized in Medical Anthropology and in Content Design. As part of his BA thesis he conducted field research on changing meanings of sexual conduct by men who use Pre-Exposure Profylaxis (PrEP) and have sex with men. Michel has worked as an event supervisor at Podium Mozaïek and has performed fieldwork activities in ‘Amsterdam Nieuw-West’ for the municipality of Amsterdam.
