Monica Cropsey


Monica is a new addition to the Humanity in Action team, joining as a Development Intern in October 2022. Monica just recently started her Master’s degree in International Development and Conflict and Security at the Brussels School of International Studies. Before moving to Brussels, Monica lived in Rwanda for four years where she worked on various education and gender equality projects. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Lewis and Clark College where she studied abroad in Dakar, Senegal. Monica was born in California, USA, but has lived all over the US and in three different countries. She is passionate about social justice, education rights, and animal conservation and welfare, and continues to pursue these interests in her personal and professional life.
