Nick Farrell has spent his career working to increase opportunities for children and families in under-served communities. Nick is currently a Community Schools Program Manager at the NYC Department of Education, where his work focuses on scaling and implementing the community school strategy across NYC. In previous roles, he served as the Director of Pre-Kindergarten Admissions during NYC’s citywide Pre-K expansion, and he piloted anti-poverty programs at NYC Center for Economic Opportunity. Nick is a Humanity in Action Senior Fellow (Denmark 2004) and also served as Humanity in the Action’s American Program Director in 2007 & 2008.
