Ozan Zakariya Keskinkılıç is a Berlin-based writer, lecturer and research fellow at the Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences. His research interests include (Anti-Muslim) Racism, Antisemitism, Orientalism, and (Post-)Colonialism as well as Jewish-Muslim Relations and Empowerment. He is a co-founder and board member of neue deutsche organisationen e.V. (new german organisations) and co-coordinator of the Salaam-Shalom Initiative Berlin. He is co-editor of the anthology Fremdgemacht & Reorientiert. jüdisch-muslimische Verflechtungen (“Alienated & Reoriented. Jewish-Muslim Interrelations”, together with Armin Langer, 2018). In spring 2019, his book Die Islamdebatte gehört zu Deutschland (“The Islamdebate belongs to Germany”) got published in AphorismA Press. Keskinkılıç got featured in Le Monde, Deutschlandfunk, Frankfurter Rundschau and Taz. His writing has appeared in major German media outlets such as Zeit Online, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Tagesspiegel, Deutsche Welle, and others.
