Paula Vermuë

Paula Vermuë is an Anthropologist with a passion for gender and youth justice. Paula is currently a junior lecturer at the Anthropology Department of the University of Amsterdam. She is assisting an Anthropological research on intersectional fatherhood practices in the Netherlands. Paula has a Research Masters in Social Sciences from the University of Amsterdam. She is specialized in Ethnographic Research, Conflict Studies and Gender-based Violence. For her Master research, she immersed herself in questions around humanitarian aid and grassroots resistance against Sexual Violence and Femicide in South Africa. Her studies have shaped her into a highly motivated and critical thinker. Now she is ready to bring theory to practice! In her free time, she enjoys vegetarian cooking, yoga, long bike trips and walks in nature and reading novels.
