Ina is from Bulgaria. Her background is in Cultural Studies and Sociology, thus she has an MA in Gender Studies from CEU. In the last couple of years she has been working extensively in the NGO sector on projects encouraging the intercultural dialogue. In addition, she is much interested into contemporary arts and cultural policies.

In tandem with the Transeuropa Festival, Senior Fellow Pavlina Doublekova orchestrated a seven-day workshop for Senior Fellows and the public on Mulsim minorities presence in Sofia and broader Bulgaria.
