Philip Ugelow is a Senior Director at Curriculum Associates, where he leads product marketing for i-Ready, an award-winning personalized learning system that helps teachers close the achievement gap in America’s classrooms and empowers more than 6 million students to master the math and reading skills they need to be college and career ready. Previously, he served as the Deputy Executive Director of Humanity in Action, an international human rights organization. He has also held positions at the Corporate Executive Board, Public Citizen, and on Al Gore’s presidential campaign. He serves on the board of Humanity in Action and the alumni board of the Netherlands America Foundation, and he is a Truman National Security Fellow and an Atlantik-Brücke Young Leader. Philip received his undergraduate degree from Brown University and his Master’s degree from the University of Amsterdam, where he studied as a Fulbright Scholar.
