Surayya Walters is a social entrepreneur, writer, podcaster, and DEI advocate from New Rochelle, NY. She is the founder of iDEIntity, an emerging DEI tech startup empowering leaders of under-resourced organizations with low-cost diversity & inclusion technology and services. She is also the founder of Purposeful Professional Media, a podcast and coaching initiative geared towards helping individuals launch purposeful and intersectional career paths. Surayya graduated from The Wharton School in 2022, where she studied economics, completed her senior thesis in organizational behavior, and minored in Urban Education Policy, Research, and Practice. She is a 2022 Sarajevo Senior Fellow and Racial Equity Fellow through Humanity in Action.
