Originally from the US, Ursula spent nine years in Europe, first earning dual a Master’s degree in German Turkish Social Sciences from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara and Humboldt University in Berlin and then a PhD in Psychology from the University of Potsdam. Ursula’s work focuses primarily on contextualized identity development, examining how individuals navigate systems of inequity, privilege, and oppression as they make sense of who they are in the world. Ursula is a Postdoctoral Scholar at Northwestern University in Chicago.
