Lyn holds a Master’s degree in Comparative Cultural Analysis from the University of Amsterdam, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Her academic interests lie in the politics of hybrid identity and the ways cultural narratives are shaped and circulated across contemporary and popular culture. Lyn has gained practical experience as a research assistant in the Political Science department at the University of Amsterdam, and through her work in research and communication at UNICEF Netherlands. She is passionate about exploring how stories of identity and belonging are told, and how these narratives can open up space for more inclusive ways of seeing each other.
