The 2024-2025 Humanity in Action Denmark Activity Report is out

We are delighted to share the newly released Humanity in Action Denmark Activity Report for 2024 & 2025 — now available (in Danish).

In this year’s report, you can dive into the highlights of the 2024 and 2025 Copenhagen Fellowships, where we continued our exploration of the intersection of Climate Change, Human Rights and Democracies in Crisis. You will also find an overview of the many initiatives and events that shaped our work throughout both years.

One of the projects we are especially proud to present is our newly developed workshop “Bridging Beyond Bias” (Mød mig bag din fordom!), created for students at Danish Folk High Schools. The workshop is designed to spark conversations about antisemitism and prejudice while fostering more inclusive communities. Running from 2024 through 2026, it is made possible through the generous support of The Danish Agency for Palaces and Culture, Chas. Otzens Fond, and Dagmar og Leon Levins Fond & C.A. Levins Fond as well as Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik’s Foundation.

The report also looks back on our commemorative initiatives marking 30 years since the Srebrenica genocide. Throughout 2025, we hosted three events reaching different audiences, each shedding light on the war in Bosnia during the 1990s, the genocide, and the continued importance of remembrance. This included a screening of the acclaimed Bosnian film Quo Vadis, Aida? followed by a conversation with the Bosnian Ambassador to Denmark, Anesa Kundurovic Miljak, and the Danish Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Åge Sandal Møller. We also organized a full-day seminar for teachers on how to teach about the war and genocide, as well as a public panel on the Dayton Peace Accords. These events were generously funded by Hermod Lannungs Fond.
