During the Covid-19 lockdown, Senior Fellow Walid Malik produced a video series with the Jewish Museum Frankfurt. Covering different display’s, Walid offers faith-based discussions and tells the story of diversity and belonging to a community.
In this tour, Walid shares his insights as a devoted Muslim, discussing traditional Islamic customs and their significance. Through this perspective, he draws connections to Judaism, specifically the practice of wearing a Kippah as a symbol of honoring their faith.
“I am a Muslim and for me it is a central part of my faith that I wear a head covering. I consider it a great honor to maintain a centuries-old custom and, like Jewish people, to respect religious practice,” Walid shared with Humanity in Action.
