Landecker Democracy Fellow, executive director of Libraries Without Borders, and co-founder and leader of Baltimore Digital Equity Coalition, Adam Echelman, published an article for the Technical.ly news platform.

The article welcomes the incoming mayor of Baltimore and suggests that the city’s next step should be to “develop a long-term strategy to expand digital literacy, device, and broadband access.” According to Adam, one third of Baltimore households lack a computer or high-speed internet, despite them being a necessity these days.
